Wildfires, hurricanes, active shooters and cyber attacks are just a few of the recent crises that have affected U.S. hospitals and other health care organizations. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ recently updated its emergency management standards in response to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) final rule on emergency preparedness to ensure health care professionals and suppliers meet the needs of patients, residents, clients and communities during emergency events and throughout recovery.
