C.A.R.E. is an acronym for Community, Awareness, Responsibility and Equity. The Commit to C.A.R.E website provides free science-based resources about infectious diseases including how to reduce their spread in the workplace, prevent transmission and help make the built environment and people in them safer. The website was initially developed in 2021 by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the Integrated Bioscience and Built Environment Consortium (IBEC) funded in part by a CDC/NIOSH grant.
